Do you ever barter your time, or with items you own, in trade for something you need? We're learning this type of system can be very beneficial.
We have a friend, that every once in a while needs dh's expertise in making small repairs to some of his large construction equipment. Dh doesn't mind lending him a hand, and in return he keeps us in firewood.
I works out great for all of us!

I went to school for massage therapy so I barter out massages. I also have a baking business and I barter out fudge, cakes, pralines etc... I love to barter! I just wish more people were into it like me.
